Everyone loves encouraging words.
We love to be admired and congratulated and respected and praised.
But oftentimes, we save those compliments for friends and family at home or on the weekends. We think those compliments are best received in a more relaxed setting.

So what would happen if we started sharing encouraging words at work? Maybe along with compliments, we’d start seeing our coworkers as teammates instead of competitors. And maybe we’d start seeing our boss as a leader instead of a dictator.
Because when we encourage others, we’re able to better care for, serve, and appreciate people. So stop instructing and start encouraging this week!
